I’ve been enjoying hand-coding my websites for many years, and find a particular joy from starting with a blank text editor, and creating a site from scratch (or using one of the many great boilerplates as a starting point). However if the time and effort in creating a site from scratch seems like too much of an indulgence, or if you have a concern about ongoing maintenance and website updates then using an established CMS (Content Management System) such as WordPress, may well make your online world/business a whole lot simpler, with concerns about being too ‘samey’ being avoided through having your own WordPress Theme created or using one of the many WordPress Theme vendors.
